CHURCH WEB DESIGN & DEV2025

A digital home designed to welcome, inform, and connect a growing church community.

Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church wanted a website that could do more than share announcements. It needed a space where first-time visitors could feel welcomed, members could stay connected, and the church’s mission could be experienced beyond Sunday services.

OVERVIEW

A Website That Reflects the Community Behind It

For many people, a church website is their first interaction with a ministry.

Before they attend a service, speak to a pastor, or join a community group, they visit the website looking for answers. They want to know what the church believes, when services take place, where it’s located, and whether it feels like a place they can belong.

Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church needed a digital experience that felt as welcoming and approachable as the people behind it.

Rather than treating the website as a notice board, we designed it as a digital front door—one that helps people discover the church, understand its mission, and confidently take the next step.

THE PROBLEM

Creating a Meaningful Digital Presence

Before the project began, Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church had no dedicated website. This meant there was no central place for people to discover the church, learn about its mission, or stay connected throughout the week.

No Digital Presence

Without a website, the church had no permanent online home where first-time visitors could learn about its beliefs, service times, ministries, or community. People relied primarily on word of mouth and social media, making it harder for the church to be discovered and accessed online.

No Central Hub for Communication

Important information such as weekly programmes, upcoming events, giving options, contact details, and church updates were spread across different channels. The church needed a single destination where members could stay informed and new visitors could easily find everything they needed in one place.

SOLUTION

Making Every Visit Feel Intentional

Every design decision was centred around one simple question:

“What does someone need to feel confident taking their next step?”

Instead of organising the website around internal departments, we organised it around visitor needs.

The experience was designed to answer common questions quickly while encouraging deeper engagement with the church community.

The visual language combines bold photography, clean typography, generous spacing, and a restrained colour palette that complements the church’s existing identity.

Rather than overwhelming visitors with information, each page guides them naturally towards the next action.

THE APPROACH

Making Every Visit Feel Intentional

A Better First Impression

For many churches, the website becomes the first handshake.

The homepage was designed to immediately communicate the church’s mission while giving visitors clear paths to explore ministries, service times, upcoming events, and practical information.

Large imagery showcasing real members of the congregation helps communicate authenticity and creates an immediate sense of belonging.

Helping Members Stay Connected

Beyond attracting new visitors, the website also supports the church’s existing community.

Dedicated pages for weekly programmes, ministries, announcements, FAQs, and events make it easier for members to stay informed without relying solely on social media or printed materials.

The website becomes a central hub for communication throughout the week.

Supporting Generosity

Giving is an important part of church life, but it shouldn’t feel complicated.

We designed a dedicated giving experience that clearly explains different ways members can support the ministry while keeping the process simple and accessible.

Telling the Church’s Story

People connect with stories before they connect with organisations.

Pages such as Our Story, Meet Our General Overseer, and community impact sections help visitors understand the church’s history, values, leadership, and vision before attending a service.

This creates trust long before someone walks through the doors.

THE OUTCOME

Every decision balanced user experience with real-world implementation.

The final website provides Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church with a digital presence that feels welcoming, organised, and easy to navigate.

Rather than simply publishing information online, the experience helps visitors discover the church, supports members throughout the week, and creates a stronger connection between the ministry and its community.

By prioritising clarity over complexity, the website becomes an extension of the church itself, open, inviting, and built around people.
